Double Cross

The list of true heroes in sport is dwindling. But there is still at least one man who represents sportsmanship, perseverance, and the undying will to win. There is still at least one true hero, one true role model for future generations.

Happy Birthday, Alex Zanardi.

Canada 2011 was pretty great, in fact I love Canada most seasons.

Mine was clearly USA 2005

I mean, I’m so glad I paid money to see that instant classic

What happened to Button’s Movember ‘stache?

wannabe-otaku:

Is he let it grow out into a beard now? I was hoping he’d try for a Mansell.

Better question. What happened to moustaches in racing, in general?

RIP Marco Simoncelli. My favourite motorcyclist. As you can imagine, I am truly saddened by his death, and my thoughts are with his family right now. He had so much potential, and I was sure he would win a world championship. This is so tragic.

Michael Schumacher: Consumate Racer or 4-Wheeled Thug?

"There will be a lot of debate as to whether Schumacher crossed over some imaginary line of what is acceptable and what constitutes poor sportsmanship.

"Certainly team principal, Ross Brawn, was concerned that Schumacher was flirting with what was acceptable within the rules, twice reminding his driver to “leave room” for Hamilton at the Ascari chicane." — Craig Christopher

Yeah, but it made for some exciting racing.  Though he did take it to the limit with Barichello last year in Hungary.

WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA

Ya mean to tell me that Michael Schumacher, the most ruthless driver of his generation, might have stepped over the line during a race in order to defend his position?

Noooo. Impossible!
